Repurposed Lighting
One thing Eirik loves is candles. Lots of them. I’ve always thought hanging mason jars with a votive inside were really pretty. At work we sell honey which we sample out. The jars are perfect, so I asked all my co-workers to save the honey jars for me when they open a new sample. One of my co-workers, Sandy, told me that she was good at wire wrapping and offered to make the jars hang-able for me. I accepted her offer and then forgot about it until she came to work with this:
Isn’t it beautiful? Beyond my expectations. Sandy is one talented woman. At first I was just going to have them hanging here and there, but this is too beautiful. I’ve decided to make a chandelier out of them. We’ll see how that works out.
